Alpha Omega Psi fraternity Incorporated is an International Christian Fraternity composed of dedicated men who are agents of impossible change for God’s Kingdom. We want to cultivate brotherhood and spirituality amongst men and become God’s hands through transformational mission efforts. As a brotherhood we want to care for one another by way of strong accountability, encouragement and uplift. As an organization with mission attributes, we are dedicated to restoring the dignity and respect of men by empowering them with leadership skills. We believe that by investing in young men, drawing their attention towards a community that is selfless and Christ centered, we will then begin to create a leader within the individuals. As many redeemed men become Godly leaders, the face of our world will begin to see Jesus in a new light. Then leadership will take on a new meaning that is rooted in God. Brotherhood
We believe that the male figure plays a major role in God’s plan for the family and for the world. However, the average man can not reach his full potential without the help of other Godly men coming alongside him and shaping his character into that which is of Christ Jesus. Proverbs states “As iron sharpens iron so one man sharpens another.” As men we must speak wisdom into the lives of our fellow brothers in order to mature and develop the inner leader (man) within.
We desire to live out what it really means to live in fraternal brotherhood with one another. As brothers, we would like for our lives to be transparent to one another so that growth and maturity can result. This will take place through encouraging and correcting each other in love and with a sincere concern to want the best for our brother. Our brotherhood is family oriented and saturated in loyalty to love and serve our broken world.
As members of this brotherhood, we are concern for the well being and welfare of our brothers and other men in our community. Our mission is executing the philosophy of what Christ Jesus would refer to as carrying your brother’s burdens and being our brother’s keeper. As brothers, we would like to unlock the secrets of the sermon on the mountain and apply it to our lives. Such demands that Christ requests would require you to step out of your comfort zone and live radical lives.
It is almost impossible to live up to such demands as those requested by Christ on the sermon on the mountain. Therefore, As Agents of Impossible Change, we want to face these demands head on as brothers and live radically for the kingdom’s sake. Our brotherhood heart’s desire is to do the will of God and to be passionate about the issues that stir up God’s heart. Issues like the poor, injustice, children, women, marriages and families. To live such radical lives, the pack must assemble and cry out to God for strength, patients and discernment.
As an organization we create the environment to nourish men into world changing leaders. As Agents of Impossible Change, our faith is put to the test as we cross the burning sands of the inevitable to see God’s work in action. As Psi Wolves we are a fearless pack that’s ready to take on and endure whatever challenge that dare crosses us.
Spirituality
As an organization we identify ourselves with that of Jesus Christ. We have learned that sin brings immediate gratification but long term destruction and suffering brings immediate pain but long term glory. It’s in the realms of impossibility and suffering we find the purest form of spirituality and faith. The realm of impossibility becomes the fire which tests our faith. We believe that in the midst of suffering for Christ’s sake we find our spirituality. This is how we connect with hurting, lost, fearful, abandoned, lonely and discouraged men. It is in these moments the hearts of men becomes fertile grounds for God to teach and strengthen them to become his Agents of Impossible Change.
As Agents of Impossible Change we believe that the IMPOSSIBLE is on our side and that through him anything is possible. We worship in the realm of the impossible, we pray in the realm of the impossible; we fight in the realm of the impossible, we dwell in the realm of the impossible and we learn in the realm of the impossible, because in the realm of the impossible is where we meet Jesus Christ. It’s when you meet Jesus Christ in the realms of impossibility that anything you can possibly think of is possible. As Agents of Impossible Change, that is where our spirituality dwells.
As Psi Wolves we become God’s Agents of Impossible Change in this world. Our devotion, loyalty and commitment are to worship the all mighty God and believe that without him, nothing is possible and with him everything is possible. We believe that God, through his son Jesus Christ calls us to meet him in the realm of the impossible to change the heart of men and to draw them to God, their maker. It is in this realm that our spirituality dwells.
Mission
As an organization we exercise our belief through transformational mission efforts. We believe that as Psi Wolves, We are God’s Agents of Impossible Change. As such we engage ourselves to reaching out locally and internationally to men all over the world. Our battle does not only exist in the spiritual realm but also in the physical real. Our mission is to empower men and draw them together in community with Christ. There we can begin to breakdown the barriers of a selfish mindset and build a new mindset grounded in community with Christ as our center focus. Our mission has two components. We have AQPsi’s Local Mission and AQPsi’s International Mission.
AQPsi’s Local Mission (Psi Clones & Men’s Outreach) Our local mission has within itself two components, the Psi Clones and the Men’s outreach. Mens Outreach: The Men Outreach focuses on building relationship with other men and drawing them into community with one another. These are sessions we call open meetings where any male can be apart of with no sure commitments to the organization. We engage ourselves in conversations where we focus our attentions on the issues which men face on a daily basis and seek answers through witnesses of prophetic words or through the word of God itself by way of Bible studies. In a community setting the men then realize that they are not the only ones who struggles with these sins. As the men open the floor with these issues, they will begin to encounter God in a whole new light.
The outreach targets men who struggles with any issues such as: feeling out of place, loneliness, lost, pride, anxiety, arrogance, sexuality, depression, anger, fear, worthlessness, addictions, temptation, women and any other sin that would cause a man to become less than what God expects him to become. Our open meetings are in the homes of the Psi Wolf elders once or twice a month depending on the month and the activities for that month. There will be sessions where we would also set time to go out and enjoy each others company as we grow in friendship with one another. Psi Clones: These are men from the open meeting who would like to serve other men by becoming a committed member of the brotherhood. We focus our attention on these individuals and invest in them by way of apostolic leading. These men will then go through an application process and series of interviews followed by a Psi Wolf dinner with the committed core brothers. After the dinner a date will be arranged for the applicant(s) to engage in a one night (Howl at the moon) initiation process to become a committed member of the organization.
AQPsi’s International Mission
As Agents of Impossible Change, we live out our faith by serving and planting AQPsi chapters over sees where impossibility and injustice exists. Currently we have two chapters in Haiti. Our chapters in Haiti are the prototypes figures for our quest to make a difference in the world. We as a chapter form alliances/partnerships with churches, university students, businesses and organizations here in the United States to better serve and empower villages and communities in Haiti where our chapters serve. We empower the men in those communities through prayer, trainings and resources so that they can empower and lead their communities. Our goal as Psi wolves is to encourage/empower them to become independent so that they can help others. We want to challenge these men to step up and take their roles as leaders in their community. We are careful to not create a sense of dependency which will cripple the chapters and nullify or discredit our mission. We believe that God gave us freedom in Christ and with this freedom we seek to preserve it in other countries. We exist in the realm of impossibility, in places where freedom is being jeopardized. Dr. Martin Luther King Junior once said, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to Justice everywhere.” As Psi Wolves, Agents of Impossible Change, we believe that a threat to God’s word is a call for action. Beware the wolf pack is on the move.
